Robert Ryan, Jr. presents a check from the Shamrock Run to Sr. Mary Feehan, OSB, Chair, Benedictine Health Foundation (BHF) and Melissa Komora, Executive Director, BHF. The monies will go to The Robert J. Ryan Memorial Fund at Benedictine Hospital. The fund was established by the family of Robert J. Ryan, in appreciation for the excellent care Mr. Ryan received here. The fund provides an annual monetary award to a Benedictine Hospital employee that exemplifies the Core Values of Benedictine Hospital and has been recognized for demonstrating compassion, excellence and a caring sense of humor in patient care. Benedictine Hospital employees in good standing who have received a Service Excellence or Employee of the Quarter award in the calendar year previous to the annual Service Excellence event are eligible. A special committee including members of the Ryan family will determine the final recipient based on the written recommendations received with the Service Excellence or Employee of the Quarter award. The award will be presented at the annual Service Excellence luncheon on April 17th.
